Education Programs
Grassland Heritage Foundation provides educational activities to help children and adults understand the uniqueness of prairie ecosystems, their biological diversity and why it is important to become engaged in helping preserve prairies.

GHF's educational activities for adults include workshops on prairie plantings and management, prairie walks, and plant surveys.
GHF hosts prairie walks throughout the northeast Kansas area, including Ogg Road Prairie in Shawnee Mission Park, GHF's Snyder Prairie in Mayetta, the Prairie Center in Olathe.

GHF also supports prairie education and research through awarding the Rachel Snyder Memorial Scholarship.
